Our School Garden
The children and staff are working hard to improve the school’s garden and pond area, ideally making an environmental friendly area for the wildlife and children to enjoy all year round.

As it is also ‘Food Awareness Week’,  we included teaching the children on where food comes from and how it is grown.

This is an on going story of our developing garden......
....The beginning

To protect the seedlings
Pete kindly donated the covers to Shortwood
Mid-April 2008

The Radishes bear fruit
Sunrays tried to eat them.....
