I have recently been appointed as Head at Shortwood Infants and started 'in
post' on 20th April 2009. Previously I had been a headteacher for over twelve years and then decided to go travelling, which I thoroughly enjoyed. Prior to my
appointment here I'd been working in Interim Management for the several years in two different authorities.
Our school has a lovely atmosphere and a 'real sense of community'. Families,
Governors and Staff work closely together to ensure that each child receives
high quality provision, in order to develop the experiences,skills and
knowledge needed for a successful life.
Children are at the centre of everything we do here at Shortwood.
